Queensland Women’s Strategy: Share your view, shape our future

Terms and conditions

The Terms and Conditions of entry (‘the conditions of entry’) for a chance to win one of four $50 vouchers from your choice of either JB HiFi, Dymocks, Kathmandu or Rebel Sport are:

1. You may enter the competition online after completing the Share your view, shape our future: --Youth eHub Survey, by pressing the Submit Now button. The terms and conditions of entry are available for perusal prior to pressing the Submit Now button.

2. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of the conditions of entry.

3. The competition will close at 5pm Friday 8 October 2021.

4. Four prizes will be drawn. Each prize is a $50 voucher from either JBHiFi, Dymocks, Kathmandu or Rebel Sports. Each winner may select their supplier. The prize cannot be taken as cash.

5. The Office for Women and Violence Prevention of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) is conducting the competition to promote the services offered by the Office for Women and Violence Prevention and gather information from diverse young people about their vision for gender equality in Queensland. This will inform the development of a new Queensland Women’s Strategy.

6. All entries will be verified before being placed in the draw, to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions.

7. Entry is limited to residents of Queensland who have completed all mandatory survey questions in the “Share your view, shape our future: --Youth eHub Survey” and have submitted the completed survey on the Queensland Government Youth eHub website.

8. Entry is limited to one entry per person. Each entrant must supply an email address to enable contact to be made, should you be the winner. If multiple entries by one person are identified, the person in whose name multiple entries have been made is ineligible for entry to the draw.

9. After the closing date of the competition, the prizes will be given to the first four randomly drawn survey participants that comply with the entry criteria and these terms and conditions.

10. Each of the four prize winners will be notified by 5.00pm Monday 11 October 2021 via the email address nominated on the online application form. Other than notification to each winner by email, the names of the winners will not be published.

11. If any prize winner has not confirmed their acceptance of the prize by 5.00pm on Tuesday 4 January 2022, then a redraw will occur for that prize.

12. The substituted winner will be notified by 5.00pm on 11 January 2022 via the email address nominated on the online application form.

13. DJAG is bound by the Information Privacy Principles in the Information Privacy Act 2009 (‘the IP Act’). The only purpose of collecting each entrant’s personal information (‘personal information’) is to enable you to enter this competition. All personal information collected as part of the draw will be disposed of within six months of the draw being completed, save the identity of the winners of the draw, which will be disposed of within 12 months of the draw being completed.

14. Any enquiries about these conditions of entry should be addressed to women@qld.gov.au.
