“Real Skills for Real Life” PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. By providing a submission, the submitter agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the judges.

The goal of the “Real Skills for Real Life” promotion is to gather information from young Queenslanders about what skills and knowledge they require as they become adults, and how they best like to access that information.  

1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Queensland residents aged from 13, up to and including 25 years old, who are registered on the Queensland Youth eHub. (https://e-hub.engagementhub.com.au/register)
3. Employees of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. Promotion commences at 1.30pm on Wednesday 3 April 2019 and closes at midnight on 28 April 2019 (“Promotional Period”).
5. The Promoter is the Queensland Family & Child Commission, Level 22, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane City East, 4002
6. To enter the promotion, individuals must complete all of the following steps. If any of the steps are not completed, the individual will not be considered.
   1. Complete on eHubfull registration
   2. Complete and submit the survey
7. All entries must meet the requirements outlined in the eHub Community Guidelines page.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
9. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
10. The selection of a winners will take place on 30 April 2019 at 10:00am at Level 22, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane City East, 4002. The judges may select additional reserve entries, which will be drawn at random, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner. The winner will be chosen at random from those entrants who follow the steps outlined in clause 6 above.
11. The winners will be notified via email no later than 5pm on Wednesday 1 May 2019. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the message with their first name, last name, email address, and telephone number by 5pm on Friday 3 May 2019. If no response is received, this will result in forfeiture of the prize.
